Both the house next door and the one across the street are built on stilts.

But on the plus side, close to shopping! (Walmart literally across the street)

Damn, nice house. In my hood with that lot size and house, somewhere between $3.5 & $4.5M depending on what part of town. I don't know shit about Spokane, but if you like the house I would be pushing her. Build a 2+ garage with ADU/Granny flat acoss the back and spruce up the yard. FKNA.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

    WTF is this listing?
    https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1...16387885_zpid/

Includes the cars and the full Milwaukee tool room?

Did they hire a model to pose in their listing photos? I thought having people visible was verboten in MLS listings?

Just a guess, but I’m thinking that the owner is a pompous douche-nozzle.

.26 acres is an estate? Fronting an 8 acre park wouldn't be bad in the early morning when the pictures were likely taken. But filled with lax players afternoon/weekends with the attendant noise would suck

I was thinking crypto bro, but kind of the same thing. If that house was in a movie to show the owner was a douchebag, you'd think it was way too cartoonish and over the top.

Subtle favorite part was... after all that, he still just has a view of his neighbor's shitty shed right up on the fence line.

Street view has some good angles of them doing the scab-on for the 2nd garage.

I like how the pictures seems to imply that it's encouraged to hit golf balls from your deck into the park.

    Was that an Aston Martin?

I did not know that Louis Vuitton makes toiletries, and do not care, but it's funny you can see in the mirror that the box is empty.

Yeah, house across the street is an ugly split level with a Zillow estimate of like $450k...

Crypto bro with lucky timing seems like a good guess? Otherwise I guess I need to get into the rain gutter business.

Looking at sat pix and lot lines, it looks like at least the rear deck if not the rear of the added garage is encroaching on the required setback. Along with the code violations I see in the pictures, I'd bet money that was a unpermitted commando operation.

On closer inspection it's even worse (better?) than that. They removed a section of railing on the upper deck and are suggesting you should hit balls into the park from there. The write-up says "golf off the upper back deck." I'm not a golfer, would you be able to hit all the way across the park with a good drive?

Makes me hate that I have a mini-rack (no glass) for my odd obsession with having numerous glasses ready for grab and go depending on conditions. Haven't figured out a better way and sucks that mine looks half as douchy but still douchy.
