Living in a house like that would just make it easy for the folks with pitchforks to find you when everything falls apart.

That's not real is it? I can't tell.

A part of me is sickened that a place like that could exist and be owned by one person while there's people in the world who don't have clean water. But at 21 bedrooms maybe they're providing residence for like 40 people - right? Posh hotel.

You can find some solidly cringe videos of the developer for that place. He has defaulted on his loans, the place was taken back by the lenders and they are trying to liquidate while he constantly pitches new investment strategies to save it. Got involved in some new crypto scam leveraging this place too, like each coin is somehow associated with a piece of this place. I'm not going to let my wife know there is an opportunity for fractional ownership.

The lot cost $28 million supposedly, wonder how much of the rest of the $100 million was ever spent on the compound?

Mandated fire sprinklers make it much harder to torch a place for insurance money.

I have a commercial fire sprinkler system in my house and never considered the fact that insurance fraud would be that much harder.

Obviously it's good luck to have bathrooms in multiples of seven.

Yes, what's with two different garage door sizes? Is the smaller one for a motorcycle?

Had to double check in google street view, whoever built that small retaining wall obviously doesn't believe in building things plumb and level. Or in making a clean-looking curve in their block work.
