Watch The Sopranos much? The house decor has a certain "ethnic" flavor. White Z-brick was a nice accent.

Fuck man. You’re old enough to remember the seventies

    Deep purple shag man.

Shag so deep they gave you a rake when you bought it.

I'm not from the Midwest like you my man. I don't have a lot of shag carpet experience.

That house actually looks to have great bones and well kept up, just super dated from the owner being in their prime in 1979 hosting swing weekends with a garbage bag of coke and 20 hot NY mom's that like to party.

Hadn't noticed that detail, yes I now see it in two pics.

Can't you hear one of the two older, matronly RE agents saying, "it's all cosmetic" when someone mentions purple wall-to-wall carpeting, floor to ceiling mirrors or wrought iron railings.

And what's with the taxes, they're up and down every few years:

    2021 $7,251 (-1.7%)
    2020 $7,374 (-38.1%)
    2019 $11,905
    2018 $11,905 (+3.1%)
    2017 $11,551 (+10.4%)
    2016 $10,467 (+180.5%)
    2015 $3,731 (+9.7%)
    2013 $3,401 (+7.5%)
    2012 $3,165 (-41.7%)
    2011 $5,426 (+0.3%)
    2010 $5,412

Owner of that place must have died or gone to the home or something, he wasn't leaving that place without a fight.

The owners wife must have gone first. The protective plastic covers have been taken off all of the upholstered furniture.

No one commenting on ceiling wallpaper. Someone who buys that will be cursing removing that!

Could be a pretty cool space after a remodel, but it's offputting that there's no interior photos. How bad is it?

Also, from Redfin's flood map: "Based on your estimated FEMA zone, flood insurance is required to obtain a mortgage from a federally regulated or insured lender."

Braddock for example. Can grab a little fixer upper for like $14k. Fetterman was mayor here prior to his lieutenant gov role.

I'd hire Giovanni di Simone and some Pisans to straighten that right out.

    That is so Vegas.

Too bad Howard Hughes and Elvis aren’t there to enjoy it.

    But.

The stripper pole and mirrored disco ball really add a touch of whimsy to the yard.
