From castles to log cabins....28acres and a mansion....looks like the whole house practically sits in one giant room:

It has it's own helipad, something that has been greatly overlooked in home design these days. Glad to see some folks haven't forgotten how to live.

All that timber framing & zero sense of logical structure (beams disappear into walls with no visual support hierarchy)…nice site tho

Seems like it could be a cheap option for the state to create an overlook and visitor center/rest area for travelers on the 101. I mean if they themselves had to procure the land and build the structure it would probably cost $100M due to bloat and endless bureaucratic nitpicking.

And if they just did something with it efficiently without public input, the state would be up in arms over the elitist royals in Salem who don’t represent the public

All the industrial looking duct work seems a bit out of place, too.

It may be haunted (or more likely full of lead paint)... at least the realtor is realistic that "starting over" may be the best route for this piece of property.

Fly it yourself rather than have your personal pilot on standby? You must be one of the poors.

Heh. That was a google educated guess what the prior owner did based on the helicopter reg. - because that’s a “poors” chopper. You can get a used one for less than the apparent Aspen grocery getter SUV of choice. The house has the glacier np log megastructure problem - if you aren’t having huge dinners filling the place on the regular they are empty

Ok, now I'm really confused. If you do the 3-D tour, there are no less than 4 full size motorcycles on the second floor. In the master bedroom.

I guess pro motorcycle racers need to spend their money on something?

You didn't happen to notice the Indian sitting in the chair in the Movie Room with a jug....nor wonder why the bathroom in the Movie Room has or even needs a shower?

Hey, a movie theater/orgy room with an adjacent shower makes perfect sense when you have porn on the big screen. But I just can't come up with a use case for motorcycles on the second floor.

If you check out the master closet, the guy sensibly kept all his shoe boxes in case he needed to return one of the 23 pairs of identical shoes he bought.
