    Stems…

Stems… not this kind of stem, crackhead.

But a stem for a bike. The current stem on my bike is really long and stupid looking, but I found something that is cool looking and reasonable in price. 10* rise, but for cross country riding should I opt for 50 or 65 extension? I’m lanky fellow, so I’m leaning towards 65mm. I’m a total bike JONG, so I’m sure I’m going about this all wrong, so any insight would be appreciated.

Top tubes and torso vs. leg lengths vary so much that no one can possibly answer that question without sitting you on your own frame, seeing where everything ends up, and talking to you about how you want the bike to handle.

Spats and MNTLion, you guys are talking logically. I’m in a spending mood and listening to Likwid.

    They're right though.

BUT if its a good deal then you can always rotate it back into the world via RM or here.

OMG, I finally agree with the guy who rides a recumbent. This, is a sad day.
