True for this audience, but relative to most avalanche content produced for a general audience it's solid. Too much repeated stock footage but solid snow science when they get into it.

Also, like I said, he periodically puts out an episode that trends a lot harder toward lame pop science. I suspect that this might actually be intentional to get boosted in the algorithm and pull in new viewers who might not click on the good stuff otherwise.

The blue LED episode is an incredible story that is almost totally unknown. We live in an age where real technological breakthroughs almost always come from teams of people. Yet the blue LED, which has profoundly changed modern life, was invented by one guy grinding away in a room day after day while ignoring his bosses who told him to stop for decades.

For example one task was they were confronted with a giant (fake) boulder and the task was to move it as far as possible in one hour. The winner managed to get it onto a commuter train in London.
My wife and I are still enjoying this and we're now up to season 7 (I think there are 17 total). Just good, goofy fun.

Sacred Grounds from MSP with a lot of Kye Petersen who is super underrated imo. 5 part series that's worth a watch.

Tom Brady just started a YouTube channel.. I'm sure many of you hate him, but he's always up to something these days.
