I got the alternator, let's just say that. Neg ground no less. Still have to rebuild the one on the floorboard of the passenger seat, which I have done piece by piece in the past. Makes doing drum brakes like a 1st grade project, especially with a tremmor. It weighs like 40 lbs. too. Meaty sonnava.

    Happy Solstice to you pagans.
Been fucking cold here - lows in mid 30s highs mid 50s. New snow at Mt Bachelor. That looks to be changing.

And ETA - I have a khaki Utilikilt in size large I’m selling - too big after substantial weight loss. Say $35 plus ship from 97759? PM for details

I love summer, whenever it gets here and however long it sticks around.

Oddly, I am not a big fan. I like the daytime temps maybe around 68 to 72° after that It's just too damn hot for me and I find myself looking forward to fall and then winter.

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.
