    Who Got Some??

As predicted by the fine folks @ Surfline the swell hit and it was good this weekend Damn good!! Surfed little PT. Dume Sat & Sun fairly consistent head high with occ. Head High + both days although Sunday was defnately bigger. Wish I could have stayed for today but gotta work.
Rode my new Board which made it even better, Bought a 7'0" Surftech Channel Islands Flyer II fun board just a very differnt feel from a normal glass/foam board, but a great swell to test a new board. Shit my arms are still tired today!
Any one else out there this weekend?

out early saturday morning. surfed for maybe 20 minutes at zuma before heading up to leo carillo. fun, but long waits b/w sets.

sunday took my chances with the venice 6ft closeouts of death for a while before opting for golf instead.
    fine

yeah, the parking situation is nice there as it keeps crowds low. was there about two months ago and shit was just peeling off the wall, barrelling in like 2 feet of water. fun spot, but gets a little hairy.

I was @ the private beach shit was breaking way out in 10 ft+ of water it was on fire to say the least! Saturday am there were only 8 guys in the water for the first hour! I stayed in the water for four hours til I could no longer paddle! Sunday there was probably 25-30 guys out still good though!

    Thumbs up

hell yes! Yesterday was a blast, el porto was pulling in some consistent chest-head high sets that were nicley shaped. Not too many out...think after last weeks blown forecast, many stayed home.
I have mastered all major sporting activities to a high degree of mediocrity.
