Utards :: Anyone have a bike case I can borrow?

I'm going to NYC in a month or so, and last night lying in bed (after spanking it) I thought "hey, it'd be fun to bring my bike."

So I'm thinking about bringing my bike and stuff. Only problem is I've got no way to fly with it. I don't want to go through the hassle of shipping it as I'll probably only ride it for like a day.

So do any Utards have a case I can borrow? I want to bring my AS-X.

I'll make it worth your while somehow (but not in a gat way, unless you're really cute).

Jai, you wanna throw in on one? I'll be needing one mid-September, and have run into similar issues. I'll most likely only be riding for a day or two, and I hate the idea of shipping in general and because of the hassle.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

I have a Tri-All 3, which rolls, and will hold 2 bikes plus everything you need to take with you. I took it on my summer-long trip to Europe and only needed to take a carry-on in addition to it. Yes it's big, but they only charge you for the fact it's a bike case, not anything more. Like 50 bucks each way. If either of you want to borrow it, holla.

J - you bought mine, remember??? heh. I actually just re-sold it on eBay for a decent price or I'd let you use your case...

    Question

    AS-X + NYC = WTF
Nevermore, however weary, should one faint by the way who gains the blessings of one mountain day; whatever his fate, long life, short life, stormy or calm, he is rich forever. -- John Muir

pfft. That guy is gapping to Central Park on a TRIALS bike. The AS-X is clearly overkill.

If you're coming to NYC and have a free weekend, let me know. I know a good place to let your bike have fun. Or if you want, there's some killer XCish riding about an hour north.
