    Free White Rim trail permit

A year ago, I planned out a trip to ride the White Rim trail in Canyonlands National Park, in Utah, over Sept. 25-27, 2005. I have a backcountry camping permit for this trip, but all the people who promised they were going to make it have flaked out.

So the permit will expire. Anyone want it? 3 days camping as follows, traveling counterclockwise, from Horsethief trail to Shafer trail.

    9/25/05: Labyrinth A
    9/26/05: Candlestick
    9/27/05: Gooseberry A

PM me if you want it and I'll mail you the reservation letter, which is what you will need to bring to Canyonlands to get your permit issued. I've already paid the $30 permit fee.

Karl - Should I assume you won't be in Moab at the end of September?

We'll be there, just not doing the White Rim trail as planned. We'll be camping somewhere in Moab, doing day hikes & sightseeing in the area. I'm still in for the Rockhopper.

No problem - understand your situation. Definitely consider the bike sold. We'll probably be finalizing trip plans this week; I'm leaning towards using the Arch View RV park North of Moab for our campsite, but I need to check with them on reservations.
