What do I want from Costco?

Big tub of pine nut hummus. Would prefer plain, but it’s pretty good. About 1/3 of the price of a small supermarket container

I learned a cool trick/tip today at Costco. You can order and pay for pizza in any checkout lane, even the self checkouts.

Funny take on Costco. Having not been a Costco shopper for many years now, I must honestly say that I do not miss the blatantly disgusting consumerism that it promotes. Probably helps that we are only 2 ppl and live over an hour from the nearest Costco.

I do miss their rotisserie chickens though...

Which stores selling stuff are anti consumerism? It’s just about buying in bulk to save money.

We only go about twice a year, but we're throwing a party and need a ton of booze.
I need a case of Rose', what's drinkable?

Decoy Rose is decent for a reasonable price point. Obviously you can do a lot better but it's very servicable.

No specific Rose rec’s but Andre Mac - Bon Appetite’s Somm - is very fond of Kirkland’s imported vino options. Domestic, not so much.

He also does a review of all the Kirkland spirits…

I saw a tub of Maldon Sea Salt in stock. At $7 I grabbed a tub.

Had some 2019 a friend brought to dinner and it was excellent. I’ll try the 2020

Curious, about how much a bottle? I scored a case of 2019 Amarone for $19 a bottle from WTSO. I love that wine.

I think it was right about $20/btl.

I might go get another case before it's sold out.

Hell yes. Santa Maria in many ways is still the great unknown BBQ Mecca. Stands up to KC or anywhere else.

I like to use it as a pillow for at least a week before I cook it. Where is Santa Maria? Near Nina and pinta I assume?

Dad jokes are the only way to communicate with costco shoppers. Sorry.
