Well, that was just fucking wonderful (Wyo vs TCU). What sucks is we should have beat them by 3 or 4 touchdowns, but everytime we got close, "here you go, take the ball, we don't need it.". Our quarterback GAVE AWAY SEVEN TURNOVERS. He threw 4 picks and fumbled away 3 times. Kinda hard to win with 7 turnovers from one dude.

What is sad about this is all the Bruin's do is talk smack about the USC game because they believe SC is the main rival and that is all they have but they do not have a clue.

On the other hand, a real SC fan realizes their true rival is that of the Irish of Notre Dame and ucla is but another door mat to wipe our feet on once a year.

I did not know that Baghdad Bob is now working for UCLA.

I'll admit that I don't know squat about football and only said that to stir up all of you University of Spoiled Children fans

Thank you captain obvious ...good game on both sides, too bad the Irish couldn't pull it off...White is by FAR the best player on that team, he was really impressive.

White are you sure you don't mean Bush. White was 10 att for 26 yards granted he had a couple of key carries. If it was not for Bush SC would not have won. Thank goodness SC was able to pull it out. I had about 4 heart attacks and three ulcers during the game. Leinart had a subpar game and those picks really hurt SC but the kid was tough at the end. Bush is just the man and the best player in college as he reminds me of Barry Sanders/Marshall Faulk

Charlie Weis is a fucking god. His gameplan was unfucking believable. SC is a damn good team. They're very well coached and much more talented than ND. But damn, ND's offense basically controlled that entire game.

Yes I most definitely meant Bush thanks for correcting me...a few too many chardonnays for this guy during the game. Leinart is good but IMO Bush wins the Heisman hands down. And I concur about Charlie Weiss, definitely a fantastic coach...too bad we lost him in New England although he has a strong future at ND.

...and in mountain west news the utes shoot themselves in the foot once again.

Quinton is weak, and so is the coaching.

Still can't believe SC pulled it out 3 & 19 w/ 1:57 left to play and we pullled off! Talk about Trojan pride!! ND played a hall of a game they are going to be a force to contend with in the future! The officiating was a joke SC still killed themselve on penalties! ND was able to get a first down on pretty much every 3rd down conversion but in the end SC prevailed as thge champions that they are!! Hope we can keep it going and I can do more smack talk on 1/4/06.

Actually, it was 4th and 9.

Here's someone's video (from the wrong endzone, of course) of those final two plays:

Further proof Weis is the man:

So did Notre Dame's Weis. At exactly 7:15 p.m., Weis took several steps into the Trojans locker room and offered his congratulations.

"That was a hard-fought [bleeping] battle," said Weis, as the USC players shushed each other to hear the Notre Dame coach. "I just want to wish you good luck the rest of the way. I hope you win out."
Notre Dame's coach walked into SC's locker room to congratulate them...I think the apocalpse is upon us...but damn if that doesn't define class, I don't know what does.

Wow. I'm still kinda numb from that. Some thoughts:

That was the most gutwrenching thing I have ever been a part of. Emotional as hell. The highs were so high, and the low was really low.

I have been to 14 ND games. That was by far the loudest I have ever heard that place.

ND is a really good team, and Weis is going to win championships.

Like I said, I've been to 14 ND games, seen all that I could on TV in my 24 years, and I've been to several other college games not involving ND. That was the most heart I've ever seen anyone play with.

    Reggie Bush is amazing.

The USC band is really good. I liked the "UCLA Sucks" song they played after the game.

All else aside, that was one hell of a goddamn football game.

Maybe next time, he'll have the grounds crew cut the grass?
