    IT'S FOOTBALL TIME IN TENNESSEE!

BTW Frizzo, it doesn't matter whether you get a scare from the Cowpokes or not, the Vols are gonna ownerize The Swamp and the Urban Myth on the 17th.

Are y'all able to field a team, or are they getting let out of prison for the day?

If Florida's looking good going into that game, the Swamp is gonna be a nucking futhouse. Are you heading down for it?

Nope, if I go down there the Vols always lose. Since I've quit going they've been winning down there.

Edit: Email I just got from my good college buddy in NJ. I asked him what the we look like, as he has season tickets with his wife's family from Wheeling.

"Our team is kind of a secret this year, Rod has closed all the practices to the press. Almost no information is coming out. We have by far the best recruiting class we have ever had, there might be as high as 7 true freshmen playing this year and a lot of junior college transfers. We have 4 running backs that could play at any big east school (2 true freshmen) and 3 candidates for the starting Quarterback job. Both our lines have depth, some minor injuries is practice but nothing major. I have seen us from ranked in the big East any where from tied for first to below rutgers. Sunday however is a big game, if we do not have such a great season we need Sunday's game to get 6 wins for a bowl game & I have a case of beer riding on it with some Syracuse grads."

I do believe I need to go see the return of Spurrier on haloween weekend.

I may get lucky and see a caution show too. Was my favorite dead cover band playing around town when you were there too?

Is that last one from 98'?

Cowboy Football Receives Generous Travel Donation
UW Football equipment will ride to road games in donated rig.

    Aug. 30, 2005

    LARAMIE, Wyo. -

The Wyoming football equipment will be riding in style this season, thanks to the generosity of Peterbilt of Wyoming and Arrow Moving and Storage of Cheyenne. The Cowboys' football gear will be traveling in a beautifully painted 48-foot trailer from Arrow, pulled by a Peterbilt tractor. R. Fred DeVore of Peterbilt of Wyoming donated the tractor, and Michael Ottoes, Vice President of Arrow Moving and Storage donated the trailer.

The rig will leave Laramie Wednesday evening for Gainesville, Fla, and the first of six road games. Cowboy equipment manager Mad Dog Aanonson will accompany the equipment. The distance to Gainesville is 1,824 miles.

Wish that I was on ol' Rocky Top
    Down in the Tennessee hills
Aint' no smoggy smoke on Rocky Top
    Ain't no telephone bills
Once I had a girl on Rocky Top
    Half bear, other half cat
    Wild as a mink,
    but sweet as soda pop
    I still dream about that.

    Rocky Top you'll always be
    Home sweet home to me
    Good ol' Rocky Top
    Rocky Top Tennessee,

Just being a Mountaineer did that to me, stadium or not.

With as many true freshman starting per the above email I got from my buddy, you may be right.

    We shall see.

Carrier Dome? Sheeut, we do that everywhere.

Interesting break-down Buzz. Recruitment has been our weakness for a very long time. All we need is more players with some heart (and less with criminal records) and we could be in business. Rodriguez better pull something out pretty soon. Word on the wire is that he's a wanted man in Morganhole.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Unprecedented Child Custody Ruling In Los Angeles, CA

    August 31, 2005

A seven-year-old boy was at the center of a courtroom drama today when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible.

The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her.

When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him.

After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the UCLA Bruins football team, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

fucla bRuin football! Eighty six years of...well...not much.

More like after number 5. You know AZ held UT to a season low 23 points last year? How 'bout you give me 3 and we call it a deal? It's just a pitcher of beer man. Better yet, if it's outside UT make it one and If it's in UT make it two pitchers.
