    Sound City / Sonic Highways

I watched several, but not all, episodes of Sonic Highways several years ago when it first came out. Seems to be a little hard to find for some reason, not sure it's streaming anywhere at this time. I got my hands on a library DVD and am just finishing up the whole thing. Really well done musical tour around America.

Sound City came out the year before, and it is also most excellent. DG & Co. knocked em both out of the park!

Really dug Sonic Highways aside fro m the foofighters song in each one, love the DC & Seattle episodes particularly as Grohl lived it.

Hmm, I did the original post from my PC, and the Sound City YouTube clip played/plays fine for me from there, but it appears it won't play on mobile devices (not on iPhone or iPad, anyway).

I did a quick ROKU search and it looks like there are several free Sound City viewing options there, and if your library has an arrangement with Kanopy it's available on that free streaming service as well...

Sound City is also apparently available on IMDB TV if anyone uses that.

Both of those are worth more of your time than most of what is on the networks.

Along the same lines but Country.

I will say the Nashville episode of Sonic Highways hit a lot of bases, but those ^^^ all look damn good. The Lost Highway series seems to be available on YouTube...
