Yowzer!, Im pretty sure my 8 yo set her personal speed record on skis last night! I feel like that right hand turn out the bottom was something special lol
This new GoPro Max 360 is pretty slick! I spent the day trying out different mount positions.
1)The head mount 360 mode would be good if you really want to see everything , including your friend to the side or whatever but it does have that high disconnected feeling
2) the chest mount 360 mode is cool , makes it feel like you are really in it
3) chest mount regular mode was really nice and smooth compared to the Hero10 Ive been using
4) chest mount 360 on snowboard might work in specific context
5) forward and rear selfie stick on board was real nice! Though I don't like riding with a stick in front of me to potentially skewer myself!
^^ I was thinking of doing a little side video showing all the camera mount options and the pros and cons to each...
but for this setup I used a carbon hiking pole with a threaded bolt embedded in the rubber tip to mount the cam. Then I laced the waist belt of the pack through the wrist strap of the pole . Last I looped a piece of parachute cord from the pole, up and over opposite shoulder and laced through sternum strap of pack.
Its a work in progress but seems to be getting half decent results !
And yes the GoPro 360 gets better footage then my old Hero10 when used in standard chest mount view. I'm not super stoked on the audio quality though, seems tinny.
