I know that burrito shop! Used to be a pretty good microbrewery in that building too. The beer wasn't amazing, but they nailed it on atmosphere. As far as that strip joint, Mary's Club changed locations after being in that building for decades. I remember walking past in high school in the '90s and seeing "13 pretty girls and one ugly one" on the marquee, which is still the most intriguing thing I've ever seen on a strip joint marquee.

Nostalgic vibes and local charm—sounds like that area has a lot of history and character!

Heh. My wife still has a Mary's t-shirt somewhere that we laugh about every time it makes an appearance.

Speaking of eating and PDX strip clubs, I recall one time my wife and I popped into Sassy's only to find Art Alexakis of Everclear munching on some cheese sticks a few seats down from us just completely unfazed by everything going on around him.
I still call it The Jake.

Man, this brings back a wild night in Seoul. Met a girl at a bar in Hongdae—super chill, said she danced part-time and invited me to check out her place of work. It was one of those http://xn--4y2by2l57ah4x.kr/ spots—private rooms, dim lights, totally different vibe. I was way outta my element but curious. Got a drink, we talked a bit in the back. Like I accidentally wandered into a GTA side quest. We grabbed street food after like it was no big deal.
