For the past couple of years, the Crested Butte Avalanche Center has been doing "Fireside Chats"- basically an informal discussion around happy hour time. These days, they're getting people outside of the area to join since it's all on Zoom anyway. So if you want to crack a beer and talk avalanches, maybe check it out. The first ten minutes or so will be CB specific, but then it gets more general...
