Why do paint companies have 2 names--dunn Edwards, sherwin Williams, fuller o'Brien, etc. There's behr. Maybe HD cant afford a second name
Cloudveil according to the links on Google ran into financial problems in 2005 and did a bunch of layoffs. In 2008 it was sold off to Spyder:

In 2010 then Spyder sold the company brand and all finally to a company in Connecticut (Venture Capital??)

Another interesting article about companies that had started and made at least a bit of a name and following in outdoor gear and then ran into issues:

They missed Ramer
Another innovative lost brand.
What Benny has been up to.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/travel/new...e317e272&ei=23A TikTok creator who started a video with, "Bro, I don't know how people who live in cities are ever hungry" showed himself taking plates of food intended for hotel guests out of a hotel—only to have a moment of "karma" to close out the episode.

I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.
"Happiest years of my life were earning < $8.00 and hour, collecting unemployment every spring and fall, no car, no debt and no responsibilities. 1984-1990 Park City UT"
Is Ferrero Rocher really a ELITE candy if you can buy it on clearance at Walgreens after Easter?
I still call it The Jake.
Guys, hiring a handyman to rebuild a deck for $6k. He has no license (not required) and wants $3k upfront for materials with the balance at completion.
How do I make sure he doesn't disappear with my $3k upfront?
Meet him at Home Depot to pay for everything?
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.
Thanks for being here to add nothing of value to a conversation.![]()

You were around people that made fun of people because of their underwear brand? I can’t recall that from the’90s or any decade I’ve lived through.

That’s why I thought of it. I’m old enough to remember when Champion started show up and was cool, then getting flabbergasted years later when I saw it at Kmart and now it’s back to cool again. Anywho, my sweet tooth finally called uncle so the Ferraros do nothing for me now. Although, one of my best GFs bought a bunch for my birthday in the before times, so I’ll say they get a pass because she had the longest tongue I’ve ever seen
Still rocking the JNCO?! I was more of a Lithium and fuct guy myself but that's cool!
I’m 55, and went to public school. I made fun of people in the ‘90s if they couldn’t afford a belt though. Didn’t pay attention to their underwear choice probably because I was laughing so hard.

The guy is not shady at all. After talking to him, he gave me the names and numbers of couple of Realtors he works a lot with and I contacted them referrals. We also worked out how I feel comfortable paying him and not having him disappear with my money. So it's all good and the job doesn't require a contractor for an extra three grand, but thanks for your two cents.
