A well timed “are you seriously that lazy you’re going to leave it right there?” works damn near every time.
The look on their faces is worth the price of admission.

In other words, I’ve always wanted one and now finally have a really questionable excuse to get one for my bday.
35lbs? You gonna carry that thing in and out of the office?
Or, for $2k are you gonna haul a 5lb Abus chain with you and leave it outside?
Eventually one day you’ll take a Lyft from the parking deck to the office.

the gig economy is structurally not giving a fuck about efficiency. Lost count of the produce blocking instacarters looking for something the store doesn’t carry and as the aged union employee tells them ”has never carried”

If I wanted that kinda response, I’d ask my wife again. Also, I make Pint money at best.

I hope not cause that’s how I’ve done it for years. Only downside is the occasional cart theft by a confused geriatric.

I could have done that in my old office. To the desk, not switch.

It’s a crowded parking garage so no parking in the back to avoid door dings option.

muted, that probably makes more sense but it’s too late, I need a One Wheel.
Of course you need a One Wheel. And this is the perfect excuse to get one. Are you really going to walk a mile from your car to your desk like a peasant?!

And for the rest of you, a mag just asked if he needed gear and you guys didn’t immediately say he yes?! What the hell? This place is slipping.

I don't care about the app.

    I'm getting a DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN.

I think it's my isp's fault or further up the pipe since it happens on both my laptop and phone
Do a tracert (Windows PC) from a command prompt. It could be DNS (it many times is DNS) and you can also try alternative DNS settingss. Google DNS is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, others include Cloudflare DNS 1.1.1.1 and if it is any different responses.

See you got it resolved, but the tracert is very helpful to know where it drops and fails.

This probably already happened, but again not personally in the appraisal business. However one of my customers is an Appraisal firm and over the years I've done work for other firms also. You are pretty much right that the lender or Appraiser are not going to expect the photos to look fully staged and I've seen photos of plenty of messy and cluttered residences. It also could have been something to ask the Appraiser as they regularly probably get the "I need to clean and straighten up and you can't come until I do" and delay the Appraisal processing. It also depends on the level of Appraisal and purpose- real estate tax appeal, or divorce settlement, or planning on selling or buying the place.

Thanks. Yeah. They came by yesterday. It was to get our PMI dropped, so we just picked up and made it look presentable. They seemed to think it was fine. It helps that both my wife and I are anti clutter in general and have no kids to fuck it all up. Worst part was scooping poop in the rain.

I thought about asking them, but why go to the source when you can solicit a bunch of dentists’ opinions instead? [emoji12]

It would be weird to have naked pictures of a 42 year old sibling at the ready, don't you think?

I bought a brown coconut for the first time in many years. I thought I remembered drinking the water out of them, but this one has a label that says don't.
If the water could ferment and have bacteria, why wouldn't the meat?

Why do football players do the god thing on the field but you never see basketball players do the same on the court?

Basketball players are obviously godless heathens. Or maybe they're just smarter than football players, they've been hit in the head less..

my mind goes to that maybe there is just usually a roof over basketball players so it's less "thanks the heavens-ish" environment
but also sometimes there is a roof over football players

I also want to know who designed commercial bank deposit slips? I had to fill in for bank deposits for a woman in my office who was out today and I was blown away by the millimeters they give you to write the info
I actually had to switch to a smaller gauge pen
and ftr I have impeccable penmanship- I can write tight and dialed but my first thought was "This was designed by someone who never actually tried using this product themselves"

Cant you just write the account number on the endorsement line and paperclip the rest of the checks to the first? My bank is old school, but I still don't have to fill out anymore deposit slips. We don't have the tap thing on our cards yet though.

I was just filling in for a day so I don't need to rock the boat on the SOP

I knew a guy who had Schwarz' Surgery --all 2000+ pages of a full size textbook--copied into a coat pocket notebook. Impressive that he could write that small. More impressive that he could read it. I wonder if people still buy text books.
