Basically I am asking what service do you give? Are you a photographer or an SEO wizard, or a chef, or a POS vendor? Need more details, that is why my first answer was so curt and simple. It's not a simple question at all. That it why you are struggling with it. And that is healthy.

If there is a competitive normative thing, then you have your price. If you bring creatives, who really make your money in many spaces, then it becomes more complex, but approachable with certain norms.

Getting new customers with no experience in many industries is difficult, there has to be a value in it. Percentage fee gets hard to track as customers come and go, but using a flat fee for compensation is easy. If they lose the customer after a month, that's their problem, flat fee still gets paid or was already paid. As for ethics on this - if it's construction and you trust his work (you trained him, right?) I'd say don't overthink this or care too much, ha.

If your sending him quality leads, take a percentage for a period of time that will give him a reasonable profit. Toss the guy a bone buy letting him take all of the first quality lead he lands. I had that happen to me once, 20,000 Timex Disney Lion King watches that Kodak bought, and I respected/trusted the guy giving me leads even more.

It’s a fairly good prediction of whether or not you’ll pay an obligation, and that’s mostly all your bank is after. That and to confirm your name, address, etc. against the database. If it wasn’t effective they wouldn’t pay for it, and while the cost is passed on in some form or other, products are more typically priced against the market and saving $2/account is all profit, baby, until somebody passes a fraudulent $500 check and disappears.

The discriminatory argument has been had here, but the synopsis is that credit scoring is fairly objective even if the inputs and the uses are not. Any idiot can get a 700+ credit score quickly if they just pay the bills they agree to pay. Inequities in score distributions are reflections of broken systems, not the broken systems themselves.
