I have a question for the brain trust here.

    1) dumb to buy 2015 Cheyenne S with no warranty when I could buy a 2016 VW diesel Touareg with a warranty until 2028 for $4k less? I need for towing a camper.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Is the Cheyenne the store brand Cayenne?

Take the warranty and savings in this market, despite what your heart says to do.

How the hell are you getting a warranty on a 2016 VW good until 2028???? And never drive a VW without a full warranty.

I’ve also seen a couple Stussy shirts around. Gotta dig up the old skate shirts and put them on eBay. The stains and hole prove that they’re vintage.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

Are we sure? Does the Cheyenne come in an "S" trim and would you cross shop it with a Tuareg?

I'm not a truck guy so I may be out of my depth here.

Oddly, every 2015 & 2016 diesel Toeareg I have seen is advertised with a 10 yr / 100k drive train warranty from the 1st sale date. Additionally, there is the 10 yr / 120k mile diesel gate warranty for emissions related items (which is a lot of the engine, catalytic converter, etc). I would like the Porsche for the vroom vroom factor, but the warranty on the Vdub is hard to ignore as is the lower price. Being a diesel the Touareg gets good highway mileage and it has 420lbs of torge for towing a small camper.

Oh. Not a real warranty. The drivetrain on the VW is the only solid part so no wonder they do a 10/100. You need the warranty for all the other crap. And most new ones are a measly 30k/3yr. Which blows. Let's see them do 10/100 bumper to bumper. So I have done a few 3yr Jetta leases which are perfect for me because I usually hit 30k on the nose. But I'd never own one outside that 3yr warranty. Unless I just parked it to look at. Seriously.

ha. Not that one. This one was born in the Ukraine and has all the grace and charm associated with middle-aged Ukrainian women. She's actually quite nice (in contrast to her fuckwit of a husband) and could also probably beat me armwrestling.

My VW experience is older, but I concur.

How big a camper, and how big will the next one be after you try this one, are also important questions. Tow ratings are usually best-case exercises and in the real world, other limits (like rear axle load, tow vehicle GVWR, and frontal area) can matter even more. I don't trust salespeople in general, and I'd trust them even less in saying "yeah, that's plenty of tow capacity for you."

Personally, if buying specifically to tow, I'd be looking at half-ton trucks or 3/4-ton SUVs. YMMV, of course, and my view may have been twisted by living in places where a crew-cab F-150 with a six-foot bed isn't considered a big truck.

Bathe almost every day, the more so if I get outside and do something fun (and often twice daily in mountain bike season).

I wash my hair once a week. It's much happier and less greasy than it used to be when I washed it during every shower.

Sposed to try another treatment tonight
anybody ever deal with this shit?
I know this sounds crazy, but my dad and I were talking about this a few weeks ago. He had crazy vertigo, could barely walk and such to the point he thought he was having a stroke. Went in, had a ton of tests done and couldn't find anything. Had a local doctor that asked about when he last had ears cleaned. Doctor ended up cleaning and digging some earwax out( gross I know) that must have been pressing against something in there. Two sessions of cleaning and vertigo went away.

    Totally anecdotal but 🤷🏻♂️

Maybe not anecdotal. I use those squishy yellow ear plug when I cut the grass and if I stick them in too far they bump up against my ear drums and it can totally throw off my balance.
