They may or may not be fried. Ballast bypass are great when you have hard conduit wired multiple fixtures. Way easier and cheaper.

I’ve installed fifty or so already.

If they’re plug in or hanging fixtures just buy new ones. I prefer those. But when you have a long row of conduit fixtures the retrofit is great.

With these led tubes you delete the ballast and Hotwire the fixture.
Then you apply the sticker that says caution no ballast.
I wonder what happens when you put an old fashioned fluorescent bulb in by mistake?

Any tips for finding a deal on a hotel near the Denver airport? Discount sites, codes to use, etc? Or is it just search kayak, hotels.com, etc?

If it was going to happen between 1-10 years at some unspecified time, would you prefer life on earth as we know it to end from teh global warmings, asteroid impact, super volcanic eruption, nuclear war, or other?

Earth swallowed by rogue stellar-mass black hole. Otherwise, asteroid impact, for sure.

Like...all life on earth? Because I think global warming offers the best chance for some animals other than us to survive. But if we're wiping out everything in all scenarios, then I think being close to an asteroid impact would be memorable.

You have a strange definition of memorable.

All life won’t die from global warming.

Definitely giant Asteroid and I want to be at ground zero.

By what measures or axioms did the insurance companies decide it's more satisfying to the customer to be sent through cycles of repeated handlers and hold muzak rather than setting up a callback if the part of the objective is busy?

Do you randomly eat food from your plate, mixing and sampling? Or, do you eat one food item at a time, not moving on to the next until you’ve finished? My son does the latter and I find it kind of fascinating.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

It's cheaper for them than building/adding a callback feature and they know you're not going to change providers over it.

Will he allow the different foods to touch on the plate?

I'm a grazer and mixer for sure, but know plenty of people who run 1 at a time. Many do NOT enjoy their different items touching.

I feel like there was a late 90s sitcom episode about this, but can't remember which show..

If you're a member of the illuminati you can stay in the secret base underneath the airport, otherwise it doesn't exist.

I'm sure someone may have better suggestions but I've never done better than kayak/etc pricing.

Just the one. The other one mixes it up.

He’s not bothered if they touch, but he’s not a fan of things being mixed up if he can avoid it. He takes his tacos deconstructed.

Over my 10 years of owning this home, each fixture has worked on and off. I have usually replaced blubs and they've worked again.
    Roughly a month ago, none of the lights would turn on and I got sick of chasing fluorescent bulbs, so I ordered up 8 LED replacements from Amazon;

    Attachment 379065

Popped em in and each worked perfectly. Instant on. Had to install both (in any given fixture) or else neither would turn on.

Well .... today I'm down there wrenching on my bike for around 30 mins and one by one they start turning off. First one, then a couple minutes later the next, then a minute and the third and finally 30 seconds and the fourth. Total darkness. Turn the switch off and on and nothing. I checked the breaker for that circuit and it was fine (tripped it and reset it anyway). There's a GFI in the area that I also tripped and reset. Finally, I left the circuit off for 15 mins and tried to turn it back on and sure enough they turn right back on.

WTH is happening? Overheating? They're LED's and maybe aren't supposed to do that? Maybe they do anyway based on the design?
There's a whole thread about these.

Dude. Not cool. You were not supposed to talk about that.
