How the heck are there so many young people who seem to be able to avoid working and just do whatever the fuck they want? Are they all trust-funders/living off their parents?

Many of our generation of parents (i.e. "we") is in general super-lenient and tolerant with their kids and a lot of folks seem to think the kids don't need to pay for their own shit. When mom and dad are paying your cell bill, letting you live in your old bedroom or the basement rent-free, feeding you, and giving you pocket money (usually in the form of a credit card), it's pretty easy not to work.
My kids think I'm an ogre for not buying into that concept but we still do a shitload more for them than our parents did for us. It's just the zeitgeist I guess.
Yeah, it probably labels me as a "get off my lawn!" old guy, but I really think every teenager needs to have some kind of job at least during the summer, and at least for a few hours a week. Just something where they are making money from working and not just getting it handed to them.
I see what you did there! I laughed.
How about Sacco and Venzetti? All I know is this upstate mosaic I walked past thousands of times implies innocent.

Some of my brothers still pay for their adult kids cell phones. Just one example of what iceman suggests.

Our daughter at 8.5yrs is already tired of asking us to buy some junk toy she has a current fixation on. For the past couple weeks she has been making comments on jobs she would like to do to earn money. Real jobs like waitressing, cashier, etc not chores around the house (she's seeing lots of help wanted signs around town and on travels). I applaud her gumption. Will work perfect as she will be finishing high school right around I am able to retire.
No. After KGB archives opened after the fall of the USSR it was revealed they were guilty.

Here's one--why are singular nouns followed by verbs ending in "s", while plural nouns are followed by verbs without the "s". Shouldn't it be the other way around?
Exterior phone box reveals old shit. Doesn't look too corroded. No place to plug in a test phone.
I replaced the DSL filters inside the house, and the static on the line is much much better. So that was at least part of the problem, if not all.
Mom's phone bill from AT&T shows she's paying for "WirePro", which Google says includes inside line repairs. Called AT&T and went through computer assistance, a tech is supposed to call me to schedule a visit.
Apparently in May of 2019 I was driving a rental car that ran a red flight in Florida.
Today I received a letter from a law firm saying I owe $394 for failure to respond to previous notices and I could “lose my right to drive”. Whatever that means.
Obviously rental car company never told me, I don’t even know if I did it but who knows.
I would of just paid it if I knew.
Do I have any options here or do I have to suck it up and pay it?

How can some law firm take away your right to drive? Is it a collection agency attached to a law office? Sounds lame and really old, tell them to pound sand.
Well, it's gone this far, to the point that they sold your obligation to some Saul level bottom dwelling collection agency, so, I say, play with them. Just have fun. Write creative emails threatening them with some stupid counter lawsuit. Make up a fake law firm letterhead logo. Highly doubtful they can screw with you in any meaningful way.
What’s the worst that can happen? I can’t rent a car in Florida?
Chances are I did it but oh well.
If you fail to pay a parking ticket what happens?

Just ignore it until your state DMV starts sending notices.
