We sell plenty of the little 100ml cans of it. I always say they're a pathway to making poor choices

Artificial maple flavor smells like cat piss and tastes awful. No way they use real VT maple syrup.

My house was hit by lighting a few weeks ago. Cable modem, sprinkler controller and 2 of 4 garage door sensors died. About half my breakers flipped. No other damage. But no one was in the shower.

I'd need to know how much the house was lightened.

Always lighten your house from the top down.

Lots of variables- how good of grounding does your electrical wiring have, what part of the house maybe even and what other means of getting to ground is there and where is the bath in relation to the strike... Lightening is always looking for the easiest path to dissipate and travels through the path of least resistance usually. But for the most part it would suck to have the water charged by the voltage lightening can generate...

Makes sense as you reduce the moment of inertia.

Apparently the *voltage* was lightened. But we still kinda need to know how much it was lightened to be able to do the maths.

Lightning isn’t dissipated by a lightning rod.

The rod dissipates the charges of the earth.

Lightning travels from ground to the clouds.

Interesting stats and maths about shower hazard is enlightening. Just don’t slip on the soap suds. That’s more dangerous.

Back in the day. Before WiFi. They always said don’t use your princess phone or telegraph during a storm.

Doesn't matter. Either way, when you solve for X, the answer is still 3 Gin and Tonics.

    We're all fucked. I'm fucked. You're fucked.
So why exactly is the whole world fucked?
I actually already know the answer, but just for entertainment sake, I'd like to see what you fuckers think.

Yes this - I recently learned that many houses have their electrical system grounded through the plumbing (copper cold water supply), hence the random question..

Is Bob singing about the same woman or is it two different women?

Early one mornin’ the sun was shinin’
    I was layin’ in bed
Wond’rin’ if she’d changed at all
If her hair was still red

Her folks they said our lives together
    Sure was gonna be rough
They never did like Mama’s homemade dress
    Papa’s bankbook wasn’t big enough
And I was standin’ on the side of the road
    Rain fallin’ on my shoes
Heading out for the East Coast
Lord knows I’ve paid some dues gettin’ through
    Tangled up in blue

She was married when we first met
    Soon to be divorced
I helped her out of a jam, I guess
But I used a little too much force
We drove that car as far as we could
    Abandoned it out West
Split up on a dark sad night
    Both agreeing it was best
