    Pedicabbers?

Anybody ferrying tourists around this summer in a pedicab? Some guys started this business in my town, and it looks interesting, but, jeez, thats a lot of weight. Bike itself is about 140, and 2 fat assed tourists fresh from dinner can weigh about 400, so we're talking about a total of around 650-700 pounds with fat assed Benny pushing away. How do they handle hills?

Yeah, Idris was doing it this summer in Victoria. I did it for 2 summers about 13 years ago, also in Victoria.
Best shape I've ever been in, for sure. Little hills that you don't even notice when riding a normal bike become climbs from hell when you've got 500#'s of tourist in the back seat.

    Bikes with Fat Ass Tourists

I see them in San Francisco where I live all the time. BUT!!! They only, and I do mean ONLY, go around the waterfront. Not only would you never make it up Nop Hill, you'd never stop on the way down.

dear lord, San Fran of all places. I wondered about brakes. I would want a lot of brakes.

Saratoga has two steep little mothers between the main street and a parallel street below with plenty of bars and stuff. They would be a problem at 2 am if you had a long day.

I'll bet it's a great way to pick up chicks in your bike shorts.

Kicked around the same idea…saw one on ebay a few months ago and wanted to buy it more so because it was a beautiful work of art. One bidder only and it went for $2000.00.
It looked as if it might be small for a tall peddaler… I’m wondering about the options you get in terms of bike fit when buying a pedcab. Have not done any serious research, cause Vermont ain’t flat. I think you’d do well in Saratoga though, especially Travers week.
If it weren't for serendipity, there'd be no dipity at all
