Took my kids to CSU v CU last night. Excellent game, CSU has a solid team this year (as does CU for that matter). Topper was student sections rushing the court after. Kids got a good look at high energy college events mixes w in state rivalry. Really fun.

He's like your friends crazy dad that's entertaining in a crazy way, much better than being your own dad. I don't take him seriously so it's kind of funny. Soft spot for him growing up in Portland where he led the Blazers to their ONLY championship when I was a youngster. Kind of nice seeing him have a decent broadcast career with all the shitty injuries during his playing days then earlier in his broadcasting for NBC.

Nice win by my Wildcats over the Gators today. Kansas almost lost to TCU. Looking forward to Ole Miss and Tennessee here in a bit and also gonna watch BYU and Cincinnati tonight. The snow sucks but college basketball is oh so nice!

Been questioning if Rodney Terry was really the best choice for Texas coach, especially after his reaction to UCF players flashing horns down and Rodney calling them out over it in the handshake line. He apologized for that, but the bigger problem is the team losing and going unranked when I think they were something like #9 early on.

But then they upset both Baylor and OU. Was very sweet watching the collective meltdown of Sooner nation over losing badly to the unranked longhorns. Almost enough to like Rodney again. Ah, well, he’ll be gone after Texas doesn’t make the tournament.

South Carolina made it look easy against Kentucky, will be watching them take on Tennessee next week.
