    Blizzard Freeride Titan 9.2

Beta? Tried multiple searches and got very little in the way of reviews

There's a pair mounted with markers going for $350 I think dimentions are something like 126-92-112 I think it only comes in a 188

decent deal or not worth it
For sure, you have to be lost to find a place that can't be found, elseways everyone would know where it was

not sure how they ski, but fair price if the ski is in good or better shape. Sell the markers and get something else detracts from the price (find bindings and pay for remount and extra hols in the skis)

Can't really help on how they ski, as I just got mine. They were a great deal cheaper though (Ebay) and brand new. Gonna mount mine with Diamir Freerides and I think they will rock (I don't charge that hard, as I mainly tele).

I remember being told by one of the pros at the straightline camp that they really liked them, thought they were a good ski for alot of people.

Yep, as flykdog said, they're a good ski for most people. On the stiffer side, titanal sheet(s?), fairly light, sidewall construction. Stiff enough for most chop, great in the pow and on the groomed. An all-around great ski, especially in the 188.

Oh, and get the white and black ones now, as the '06's are U-G-L-Y.

small picture cause I couldn't find anything bigger, I'm interested to hear about the flex is it stiff like a G4/Exploder or softer like a Big/Rex?

    Thumbs up

I've had mine for several months now and have skied them in all conditions (pow, mank, late spring, summer snow, etc.). I have the black and white ones in a 188 mounted with freerides. Here is what I've found:

    Pros:
    - Nice and light. Make a great touring setup
    - Solid construction. One of the more durable skis I've owned over the years.
    - Nice, even flex. Slightly less stiff than a G4/exploder.
    - Smooth turn initiation
    - Thicker edges, solid bases
    - Titanal sheat
    - Sidewall sandwich construction
    - Great edge hold

    Cons:
    - Rounded tail. Difficult to keep back skin clip attached.
    - Light and stiff = chattery at high speeds through manky/chopped
    - Somewhat washy tail

These skis have treated me well. Definitely jump on the chance to pick up a pair. You will not be disappointed. I am very satisfied with the overall construction of these skis.

It's not as stiff as my wizard V-explouders, but a hell of a lot stiffer than my old K2 SUper Stinx (or Jak 02/03). Has a nice even flex (unlike the V-ex which has a stiff tail).

    The ski is quite nice.
i ski them as normal ski when it is hard or not very deep. got them for 150 euros via ebay last year . (nobody wants them here)

but they have too much sidecut for me and are a bit wabbly.
they have nice edgehold and are stable at normal speed.
you can actually carve quite well on them.
skip those markers and get them for 200$ because they are two years old now.
@ mountainlion. these babies are not soft enough for you ? you'll need something reaaally soft then
edit for all: the flex is medium id say(although i never flexed a soft ski i guess). definitely much softer than my Big Daddies. id say 01/02 ak enemyish soft. at least before I spatulalized/flatened my enemies

looking for the old AK rocket "fuzzy bunny slipper" type flex.

190cm in the jax is a nice ski, looking for 90mm waist. I have spats for deep days

    bump for any more info

I'm thinking about making these my everyday ski since my G4's are about to be retired but I'm still worried about the length, does the soft(er) flex make it ski short? I know schuss and Vinman ski the 188 bros in the trees but if these are anything like a 180 explosive its not gonna be much fun in tight spots

    Good Skis

I read allot about fat 90 to 100 waist skis before buying my Legend Pro's My take on the Blizzard 9.2 / Real good Pow oriented all mountain ski. Very good ski for almost anyone looking for one skii for everything. Exelent price range for this ski cuz it was never rated the (BEST) @ anything, but pretty dam close? Sleeper GOOD Value.

Go up on the hill sporting the Blizzards? Noone is gonna laugh or turn up there nose. If you can ski? your gonna be happy on them

well the ski is very turny i think. i didn't notice it being 188cm long.(but hey i ski BDs most of the time and the 9.2s were quite a relief for me)
the side cut makes it easy to cruise around. even in tight spots. i could carve down lines on the 9.2s where i had to jump turn my BDs because they'd get too fast or wouldn't turn round before the rocks.
and they are soft and forgiving which doesn't make it as exhausting to ski as on longer and stiffer boards. you don't have to fight them to keep them under control.
    i'd say do it.
