Truth seekers - Simon Pegg and nick frost, ghosts and conspiracy! Yes!

New on Amazon. Ghost busters/x files satire (kind of.. Not really. Because how can you make fun of ghost busters? ) , conspiracy and Horror (just a tiny bit). But also drama and nice characters. I kind of Binged it. (only 30min per episode, so not that hard)

Really cool stuff. Not award winning drama, but fun stuff and if you like their humor (hot fuzz et AL.), you won't be disappointed.

I rather enjoyed it's mixture of X-Files, Ghostbusters, and Kolchak The Night Stalker.

Lots of great (and snarky) nods to classic horror films and literature, too (I am pretty sure I missed a lot of them, but there were obvious nods to Stephen King and others).

The show is uber British, too, as there were lots of cultural references and slang that were lost to my Yankee ears, but that makes the series all the more quaint and eccentric for us non-Pommies.

WARNING, THE FOLLOWING CONJECTURE COULD BE CONSTRUED AS A SPOILER:

Also, did anyone else surmise that Dave and Jojo74 were quite possibly meant to signify God and Satan?

Well, I had them at the angel and demon level of power because he (or she?) says "never send a mortal to do a super beings" (and not deity) job. That would be a strange phrase to use for the highest powers. Edit : and to clarify I assumed that God and Satan would not be bothered to play a game for a few souls only. They'd be more like monitoring the grand scheme.

Or maybe they are just some opposing interdimensional forces like order and chaos.
