If anyone is staying in those bivy tubes on the S facing, don't forget to disconnect the spark plugs...

WASATCH STOKE, CONDITIONS, OBSERVATIONS and ASSORTED DRIVAL 20-21

What a bonkers weekend. Each day did the impossible and was better than the previous. Heavy groupel (eat a dick xover) coming down as we pulled out of WP around 4, not sure how that's gonna impact things but it should ski well if you can find something to ski tomorrow.

Not necessarily. A weekend day when IKON is blacked out is nothing representative of a resort without an IKON connection. Apples and at least pears.

But it definitely raises the question of whether they are charging too much of a difference between the full and base pass to maximize their income and guest saitsfaction (or at least more evenly spread out the masses).

190 was about as bad as it gets and I’ll be surprised if they don’t have to close it as well for plowing at the least.

This Storm cycles remind me a bit of Christmas 2003. I was living in New Jersey and had plans to stay at the Cliff Lodge between Christmas and New Year’s. We landed in a nuclear blizzard on December 26. Immediately we were advised that both SR 190 and SR 210 we’re closed until further notice. We were asked whether we wanted to stay in the valley or head up to Park city where we could actually ski. We opted for Park city. The snow continued to fall and LCC was closed for an additional three days. When we finally arrived at the cliff on Dec. 29, over 100 inches of snow fell. This is the reason I moved to Utah.
