Hi Alta crew. We love the energy each morning but unattended skis are not allowed in our lift lines. [emoji79]

I’m switching to a let em have it tactics. Fuck that getting up earlier and earlier and fighting traffic and lift lines to arrive at closed terrain. Gonna roll up at 11, park rockstar, and start skiing just as the Mineral opening bug lamp goes on.

Wasatch art at my daughter’s workplace (art gallery). Superior stuff. They just sold an amazing Road to Provo

Snowing pretty good now, forecast looks decent for continued snow overnight. Flow currently from the LCC friendly NW.

Skiing at Snowbird was pretty good today. Powder in Mineral was bit variable, the untracked out Road to Provo/Knucklehead at rope drop wasn’t Utah fluff, but it was nice and soft. Everything got better with afternoon snow. A couple three untracked inches skied great in Upper Cirque at 3:00. Probably another 3 inches fell from 3:30 to 7:30. If we get another 3-5 inches overnight the snow should be nice tomorrow. Crowds, not so much. Glad I switched the All Mountain Guided skiing I scored with my lodging package to tomorrow...

What are the lines like at Solitude on a day like today after lunchtime? Trying to avoid crowds if at all possible.
