Switched to snow at pass level around 1:30pm. Nuking as I left at 3:30. Cleaned 3-4" of wet snow off at the car. Chair 2 was skiing decent and getting better. Crazy how filled in things are already.

Wind forecasts look to be pretty tame for tomorrow, so it'll be down to snowpack I think.

Yep. Seems to calm down considerably.

    Control will take a while.

Couldn't see shit up there, but the snow was decent. Tomorrow is looking promising.

Rode northway for a bit today and it had it's moments but was mostly wet and heavy and we left after a late lunch. Suspicious of tomorrow considering how rough conditions were this afternoon.

    2021 is good.
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

How were the lines at Crustal today? Steven’s was crazy until 10:30 and magically cleared up

Busy in the morning with a big line very early but overall not so bad. Snow was absolutely amazing. 5/5 stars would ski again.

    Nice to see you guys.

It was pretty damn good. Nice that hole in the wall is open. Don't think it has been yet.

It's short and tight but damn the snow is nearly always so good there.

Solid 2 ft at Baker skied bottomless. Everyone and their mother showed up though. Chair 1 line was back to Heather Meadows by the time it spun. Another winter storm warning posted for tonight...

Long but most moved quickly. Great day. Patrol did a great job getting most of the mountain open for opening bell.

I wanted to to wait for southback.... but had to get back. They were bombing it from 11am until when I left at 1:30. Did they pop it? Anyone get some?

    4 solid flake day!
Nailed a bunch of sweet virgin shots, sent my family members first and saw them sink hip deep and disappear in multiple white rooms early. The little man who ain't so little any more ripped some good d33p turns.
Lines were pretty bad we thought. I don't think I've ever seen the line for REX go up the hill that far.
Frontside skied great, got some flowy grooves going down.
Employee Housing skied well at the top but manked out at the bottom by 11:00.

Dromond and other members of the Cosa Nostra Greydon Clark hailed up on 6, nice to cross paths!

    We were played by 2:30.

Thursday is supposed to be sunny. And that's unnatural.

If you like storm skiing, then Wednesday. If you want some leftovers, with possibly some sunbreaks, then Tuesday. Otherwise as the wise Buster Highmen has pontificated, then Thursday would be a day to break out the low VLT lenses and enjoy some sun and probably some very soft corduroy.

Looks like it's a good idea to get after it this week. NWS long term has this to say:
For the remainder of the weekend and just outside of this
forecast period, ensemble guidance is strongly suggestive of
impressive ridging continuing over Canada and the adjacent North
Atlantic. Ridging still appears likely to begin to build across
the western US Sunday into early next week. This would lend
towards a period of drier weather if trends were to continue this
way. In fact, with such a pattern like this, it appears possible
we could see a period of time this month where ridging remains
persistent over the west, and troughing remains confined to the
eastern US. Will be interesting to watch this evolve.
