    CAAMP: a band to know

A girlfriend put me on to these guys last summer and they quickly become one of my all time favorite groups. They are still relatively unknown. Super unique sound and vibe. I would liken them to Houndmouth or Mt. Joy but that is based largely on their uniqueness rather than elements of their sound.

I was supposed to see them this summer with Trampled by Turtles. Started listening to them after I bought tickets and definitely dig the sound. I guess I'll see them in 2021 if COVID isn't still a thing.

Yeah I was pretty pumped to see both caamp and Billy Strings for the first time this past summer at the same event, oh well. Caamp has a new album out in the past week, I played one of the tunes in "song you wanna hear" thread a couple days ago.

this has been said a million times but it bears repeating: fuck what covid has done to live music. i just wanna go to a concert, enjoy some tunes, drink a beer, and dance a bit. is that too much to ask?
