That's a nice book. I dropped a hundred hints this Christmas but all I got was a cookbook for food that my wife is very fond of. Fuck yeah.

I hope it wasn’t a plant based cookbook

I didn’t get the socks I asked for.

My son got me a sweet puffy. Dang. Mad respect for him. Didn’t need anything but socks. But he got something for all of us.
    Kill all the telemarkers
But they’ll put us in jail if we kill all the telemarkers
    Telemarketers! Kill the telemarketers!
Oh we can do that. We don’t even need a reason

It was some bullshit Italian cook book. I love Italian food but red sauce isn't it. At least she could have bought me one of Lydia's cookbooks. On the flip side she bought me tickets to see Trey and Joe Russo's Almost Dead in Savannah. +1

Last month Sage posted on his IG that if you wanted to heli ski with him and McNutt to email Stellar Heli, so I did. Way cheaper than AK thanks to the exchange rate and fewer days of room and board, and unlike AK Stellar can fly in almost any weather so you're guaranteed 30,000 vert for the 3 days and could ski 60k+ if conditions allow (unlimited skiing with no Hobbs overages). Two groups splitting one ship, each group is a guide, one of the pros, and 3 clients max.

I had tried to talk my dad into the AK trip but he wasn't very into all the down days. I thought he might go for this since it's quite a bit cheaper and guaranteed skiing, so I suggested it and he was all over it.

    No Hobbs overage.

    Say it again.
    Say it slower.

Badass. I stayed at the hotel in Kaslo that Stellar stages out of when we went to the Mt Carlyle hut. The day we flew in was clear and that heli terrain across the lake was drool worthy.

Do EVs display charge left similar to gas cars? Meaning that in a typical gas car when it says you have 0 miles till empty, or the gauge is on empty, you normally have 25-50 miles worth of gas in the tank.

Or does zero range really mean zero? Anyone tested this?

Going close to zero damages the battery, so I'm told we shouldn't test this. But my wife had no choice and did test it in my Tesla, she hit zero and got an additional 5-ish miles (I can't remember) and made it to a charger going 5mph

I spent 3 hours re-working a section of trail today. Moved along and worked on some other stuff. I was on the other side of a valley when I spotted some riders about to hit that section. As they rode through I could hear one of them yell out Hell yeah this is awesome!

I live on the slope of a mountain outside of town. One of the roads that borders the neighborhood runs straight up the slope, making a huge two mile ramp that starts flat at the valley floor and increases in steepness as it goes up. A nice exponential curve.

Couple days ago I took my bike for a spin and part of the ride involved climbing this road. As I was grinding up in second gear, I saw a longboarder bombing down making huge carves and powerslides. Rad. I first saw him when he was about a half mile away so I had a good while to watch.

A vehicle pulled out behind him and tailed kinda close for a while, starting a couple passing moves but backing off when the boarder made another huge diagonal powerslide across both lanes. When the boarder finally noticed the rig behind him, he turned his hat backwards and settled into a hands-behind-the-back tuck. Not passing me, bitch.

When he passed my observation point he was squarely in the middle of the lane and doing more than the speed limit. Then the vehicle sputtered by... it was a star-spangled Texas wheelchair (side-by-side) piloted by a fat young man with a shitty scraggly beard resting on his man tits, watery eyes sans sunglasses blinking in the breeze, and "Blurry" by Puddle of Mudd blaring from the speakers.

Bitch-ass Maga turd was defeated and put in his place by the rad gravity fiend. Fuck yeah.
