play a different game? Sorry, I'm categorically against madden ever since EA locked up the license because they couldn't compete with the ESPN series.

I haven't done any research, and I ain't gonna buy the game either way, but is there a real difference between madden 2006 and madden 2005? I mean does it really get better every year? People seem to go nuts that it's coming out but from what I've seen it looks the same as last year's game. sorry, didn't mean to poop in your thread but I seriously don't get it.

Don't know about any differences. Never played Madden 05. The last Madden I played was like 1995.
IMO, I think the game is awesome. The stat keeping is kick ass. The play is awesome. The audibles are so realistic. Just an awesome game.
New stuff includes "Quarteback vision" and "Precision passing"
