Looking for a cheap 3 weight reel for my 10 year old as the current reel is just too heavy for her at this point and she is struggling with casting. Doesn’t need to be pretty - thanks!

How cheap? Are you looking for used? Do you want a drag or a click/pawl type reel?

Yep. We have the Echo Gekko model for our kids and I have not had any problems with the composite reel on it.

Ah. We looked at the gecko but got a hook up on the reddington minnow but reel just to heavy. Thanks again.
