I don't, but I just assume they will be there. It's part of the experience. I suppose we could look it up and try to go before.

We just got back from an e-bike trip to the TCT and found this trip report helpful. Thanks Climber!

Nov can work. I did a moto trip to the area once on Thanksgiving, and while days were short and nights were cold, it was still quite nice. Obviously an early storm could shut it down completely though.

The Lucky Spur bar down in Kingston is worth a visit if you like libations and cool, in the middle of nowhere bars. It's a special spot for sure.

When I went through there a few years back the bar was for sale as well as several adjacent parcels. I had this idea to buy the place, put in some camping/cabins and maybe a restaurant and then build a shuttle trail from the top of Kingston Canyon back down into town and the bar. With how busy Tahoe was as I went through a day or two later I figured it could pull in Tahoe locals looking to escape the madness but the FS wasn't interested in the idea at all and that was that.

The Basin and Range region may be my most favorite place in the lower 48. It's real easy to get lonely out there.

How the fuck? Honestly, I'm pretty sure I'd need at least 2x 800w batteries and do the whole thing on Eco. I'd probably bring a third to be safe. Which is to say I would never start anything like that on an Ebike. There's a reason these big backcountry rides have nothing to worry about from the Ebike invasion! Fit riders will always be able to outlast a battery.

Sick TR climbervan. And fuck all, hats off to you for that effort. Glad I finally saw this thread third time through.
However many are in a shit ton.
