It never fails: bring all my armor to Downieville, ride clean the whole trip. Bring the hardtail and shorty helmet out on what I figure would be more East Bay fire roads, get totally owned by technical singletrack.

However, i was always taught that bleeding from the elbow only counts when it soaks your glove and bleeding from the knee only counts when is soaks your socks.

lph: I washed it out on the trail...I wasn't going to ride all the way back to the car with a bloody shirt just to take a photo
Steepness + loose rocks + water ruts + log drops + XC hardtail + undersprung Judy Race = the ownage was spectacular. Somewhere in there I scraped and bruised my *armpit*.
