Did you know that there's an e-bike factory opening in Utica?

I was not aware of that. what size of factory are we talking about here? Lots of folks mass producing type of place or more of an artisan handcrafting sweet rides vibe?

If all goes according to plan it should scale up by late 2026 or early 27 and they are shooting for high volume of every-day bikes, I'm not sure what the goal is yet. As it comes together as much as possible will be made in NY right down to the frames. I'm kind of excited to be getting in on the ground floor and hope it's the kick in the ass my biz has been building up to for the last few years.

Sweet ride, m27! For some reason I thought you bought an old French truck? I'm probably confused. Anyway, I was up in the Great Lakes region last weekend and thought to myself, this is the best time of year to go ripping around on a drive. Windows down, 72 and sunny, no humidity, no bugs, all smiles. Enjoy!

turns out, best Citroen mechanics on the East Coast happen to be located in the upstates, bout mile and a half from my buddies house in esperance. So I moved Frenchie there this weekend, then I drove the Birkin over to my buddys house yesterday and moved Frenchie over to the tender care of the famed mechanics.


The place smelled vaguely of wine and stale cigarettes.


After that, I got ta blast up route 10 across the bottom of the Adirondacks whilst the sun was setting on the way home. and i got 26.8 mpg too!


Turns out, Mr. Toad was most certainly correct when he stated that there was nothing, absolutely nothing better than simply messing about in cars.

Mountain bike The downhill is at Whiteface on Friday and Saturday, the XCO is at Mt Van Hovenberg on Sunday. Friday night in Placid there is a Klunkers event at High Peaks Cyclery and I think Tom Ritchey will be there.
