I have a friend in Queens (old guy, like 86-87 years old) who I invited to a gathering in Bear Mountain for some drinking and cycling and general carrying on and he was aghast at having to go so far "upstate" to have a cook out. After the Bear Mountain shindig we all went to Queens and did the same thing on the sidewalk in front of his house, with everybody from his street. We had more fun in Corona.
