If it's Provincetown, wouldn't that mean it's up your cape?

There’s nothing like driving north on route 28 south to go down cape.

    That shit makes no sense.

Best to stay well back of the water with the cocaine sharks putt-putting around the bay.

I saw on NatGeo's Shark Week ripoff that Great Whites are operating more than ever around the Canuckistan waters cause the Cape may be too warm by midsummer.

Add in the cocaine they get from Florida and you've got yourself a real pickle there.

By the way, as mentioned in the Shark Thread, I think I'm now obligated to watch Cocaine Shark next week on Discovery.

It's no surprise they end up in Canaduh between the pharmaceuticals and cocaine affecting their steering mechanisms and the looser immigration policy.

I'm concerned we are getting off topic, and with our new official wikipedia status that could be seen as inappropriate.

However, our true natures got us to this hallowed place, so perhaps we shouldn't worry about it.

We didn't choose cocaine sharks, they chose us.

Not to muddy the waters (heh) but I have my own sort of Upstate Animal X thing going on… might have shared this before, not sure…

    https://nyskiblog.com/alligator-snapping-turtle-in-ny/

It is from 2018 but comments continue to trickle in, a couple a year. I looked at it today because I was back up at North South Lake yesterday and noticed a new comment from this year with an upstate reference which made me think of this thread obviously so thanks for the comment whoever it was. I feel like my online persona/influencer brand has really come full circle now.

More to the point though, I’m thinking the real upstate version of Cocaine Bear ought to be a giant Meth-addled Alligator Snapping Turtle. The movie opens at the height of the Catskill Mountain House’s popularity in like 1910 or so- maybe earlier. Teddy Roosevelt is summering in the upstates and one of his kids or grandkids brings his pet alligator snapper along. It gets left behind somehow and moves into the lake. Time goes by. The mountain house burns to the ground. It becomes a camp ground. Hippies arrive. Then the seventies come and go. The turtle grows into the lake’s apex predator, it just keeps getting bigger and bigger. Once in a while we see it come out of the water and grab a poodle from the campground. Some Kids spot it and tell mommy but no one believes them The movie is set in the eighties so our main characters going skinny dipping while smoking all kinds of shit is more believable. Anyway, the giant snapper obviously gets into somebody’s stash and goes on a meth fueled rampage. Hilarity ensues.

What do you guys think. Can I get this financed or what?

What is with the "North South Lake" State Campground- is it South Lake and they are on the Northern part, or can't they make up their mind as to if the lake is North or South? Should be Northern South Lake State Campground...

Great little General Store there, reminds me of a store in out town, but they call it a "Department store" and has a bit of everything from kitchen and cooking, to a traditional hardware store that does things like screen repairs, to electronic gadgets that you would never find at a Big Box store or Best Buy... Only thing they do not have is much food- drinks and snacks...
