So yesterday I did a lap and missed zones 1, 5, 9, and 10. 16 hours, 760 miles and a few dollars earned.

Southern Tier - Juice Jolt DIPA
if you're on the juice, this one's outta the park like barry bonds. can't believe they can hit these homerun flavors with hops

Should we tell them wikipedia thinks they aren't even close to the Southern Tier?

Yeah, it’s coming your way. Thunder and lightning in Rockland right now- pretty intense.

Southern Tier sucks. I don't know what's going on in that part of WNY but between ST and Ellicotville Brewery they mix fruit juice in everything and when they try to make real beer they can't make anything but overhopped IPAs which is a shame. You have to go to Great Lakes to get a real beer selection.

I used to like Ellicottville’s blueberry wheat but you’re right, last time I was through the rest of the offerings were all juice bombs.

I swung through Great Lakes brewpub over the 4th weekend and was very upset I couldn’t fly home with a few cases. So much great beer there.

100% Bmills. Not to belabor the point but when they pour that shit and it has 0 head and 10 bubbles like in that glass, I'm tempted to leave it on the bar top and walk away.

I blame the Dutch and the Belgians.

It would be nice if ST or Ellicotville could learn to brew a proper summer beer for when I make my annual trip up to the lake.

Fortunately I can get Great Lakes here, and their lineup of lagers (light and dark) are great.

Now now fellas, there is no such thing as an overhopped IPA. Can't we all just get along under the blue tarp?

I like some southern tier beers. That juice jolt is 9.5%. Great Lakes didn’t distribute Blackout Stout in my area this year, pissed me off

Now I’m not gonna claim that Rye Brook is upstate but I think you could be forgiven for making the mistake some times

huh, no-one caught the national pastime artificial/doping wordsmithing I was going for (sheds tear). it was sickly-sweet, like they squirted mango and pineapple concentrates in on the canning line...

Fuck. Yes. Dortmunder for the win; Lord Charles. It’s incredible how good that beer has been for so long.

Burning River in there too which was usually my second grab.

That Hazecraft is really tasty too - not overdone at all (which I think is really GLBC’s m.o.).

If you see any, try the Wright Stuff Pils or Turntable Pils. Both excellent seasonal offerings.
