I see 2 thumbs... Singular nouns represent only one thing, but plural nouns represent more than one.

    Absolutely agree. Good stuff Brownski!

If you're ever in the area down the big lake, the Cleveland National Airshow over Labor Day Weekend is legitimately badass. I try and take my son every other year when visiting family. The show is staged from Burke Lakefront Airport and they bring out all the big guns including an air-to-air and air-to-sea battle daily over the water with big explosions and pyrotechnics.

We're lucky and head out on my brother in law's Hinkley picnic boat for the day to take in the show from the water which means swimming and lots of low flyovers from the jets (somewhere I've got a pic of a Blue Angel pilot giving the kids the thumbs-up through the canopy that's so close you can almost see the name on the helmet); but the show is just as great from land.

    seriously.
My apologies. Deleted. Truly didn't mean to offend. Horrible, gruesome story. The use of a crossbow seemed upstate AF. And I was truly asking if the location was southern tier.

Fwiw, I am against the pos thread for cases where I think mental illness is at play. Somebody pointed that out and it made me think about it.

Do they still do the old WW1 era planes at Rhinebeck? Remember just driving by and coming upon that show years ago. It was neat, but then I heard someone crashed not long ago.

Does Rhinebeck count as an Airshow? If so then I did get the boys to an Airshow while they were still little kids. It’s not really the same thing but it was cool.

Turns out there is at least one cheap, weird ass place where they blow shit up in the field next to it for entertainment, weed store on the Tonawanda reservation. I found it Again, just driving along backwater farm roads and lo and behold, a weed store. I fkn love it I might need to spend more time in WNY, I think it's the kind of place you don't really know without a deep immersion scenario.

Yes they blew up a toaster oven while I was there.

Takes me back to the youthful days of messing around new home construction sites and blowing up glass Gatorade bottle draino bombs.

Buddy caught shrapnel in the upper lip that cut it clean from the nose down. Rode our bikes home in a hurry and told his mom he fell off on his face. Stitched up at the plastic surgeon and no worse for wear. We never told anyone. He’s a surgeon himself now so maybe it was a teaching moment; who knows.

Cool pics Brownski! 100% it counts as an airshow. When I stumbled on it they had the Red Baron Triplane and a Sopwith Camel doing a mock dogfight and it was quite cool to see those old planes zipping around the sky.

Oh shit, a geographic boundary subplot has presented itself (thanks to looking at the Upstate wiki page):
