I was gonna say they’re going for a record but I think the actual answer is that state law requires them to.

Thinking about buying some Utica Club for weekend. Seems like the quickest way to get upstate if you can't get there in person....

The mid mountain lodge has a photo map pointing out the various peaks visible from the back window. Pretty place.

Isn't there another one with the peak names in the distance?

Yeah but it just has arrows and says “More Upstate”.

Except for one that says “Canada. Probably”.

There certainly is a case to be made. Don’t sell yourself short though. I’ll bet after a case or so of UC you’re an expert on all kinds of things.

For fucks sake. We settled this already

Once you’re upstate, it’s upstate. The daks are and have always been upstate

Yup, beaten to death. For example, the Northern Tier, Southern Tier, leather stocking region, Catskills, and and CNY all have their own identity, but are still Upstate.

As opposed to them being in the Alps?
Not sure where the analogy comes into play.
