Source on the Push forks? Of course they will be $$$$$$$$$$$$$!
Grapevine rumor mill stuff from a racing buddy who lives in CO and is tight with some shop owners/sponsored racers on the front range....aka take it with a grain of salt.

Edit to add: Other than warranty (what was wrong with it) do you have any other gripes with the Mezzer?

Can't you "Mezzer" any fork by installing the Diaz Runt?

Sort of? It would be interesting to ride them back to back. My bike is going to them for fork/shock overhaul this winter and I'm debating if I want to add a runt to my 36.

Hmm no runt for the Zeb it looks like.

Push HC97? Looks like I would need the new Charger 2.1 damper as well. Lotta coin to upgrade a fork.

I think the actual platform of the Zeb seems pretty good, but the "select" damper sucks. Seeing some say to leave the damper and focus on improving the airspring which seems to be the theme here too.

    Secus?

IMO it allows you to "have all three" instead of choosing 2 of 3 for improved mid-stroke support / Small bump / Bottom out.
However, that's not a claim it's better than a Mezzer or Coil, Only a comparison between runted vs. stock 34 and 36:

There was a Runt for the first gen Zeb, out of stock currently. I would assume he's working on a new one for the A2.

Mezzer also gets you hydraulic bottom-out, internally-adjustable travel, stiffness that is close to 38/Zeb at 36/Lyrik weight, and you get to tell people, "Yes, my fork is backwards, you should flip yours around, you won't believe how much better it is!"

Complete no-brainer to drop one in if they're already servicing it.

I already have a MRP ramp control, and I'm thinking about new bike day too, so I'm hesitant to drop the extra coin. But you're right, it's probably a no brainer.

That does change the calculus a bit. I assumed you were going to be keeping it for a while since you're sending it off for a full teardown.

IMO the 2023 Zeb does not need a runt. I never rode the prior/original version of the Zeb, which had complaints (e.g., blister's David Golay) for not having enough support/diving through the midstroke. The new model has a lot of support and stays high in its travel at or just below the recommended pressure. I've ridden the runt in a Fox 38, Fox 36, and Lyrik, but I can't see wanting or needing one with the new Zeb airspring.

I’ve never felt the ‘21 Zeb packed in midstroke support, but maybe that’s because I’m willing to sacrifice suppleness in the initial stroke (hence my interest in a Smashpot).

But IIRC, most reviews of the initial ‘21 release praised it for midstroke support and riding high in the travel. Maybe that’s like the way Entertainment Weekly gave the same movie an A on theatrical release and a C+ on DVD release (dating my short-lived interest in pop culture a bit).
