Thats why its hard to get touring bindings to go very low on the side release.
Interesting, I didn’t know that but it obviously makes sense. Thanks!

^ I thought the variable clamping force at the toe affect the release value only when the toe lever is lifted up into tour position?

Can’t wait for these things. Forsure building a hybrid set up with them. Now to just decide what skis to use.

Can anybody confirm if the FR15 mounting pattern as the most recent FR14 (push button heel brake version)? ATKs templates make it look like they are but I've heard word that the positioning of the heel line relative to the heel holes is different.

Negative riser angle instead of a flat mode then two lifter options.

not sure about having to swap spacers out to adjust the AFD height, could be a pain if you have a couple pairs of boots. I guess its better than the shifts automatic adjusting AFD mind

I'm not sure but I would doubt that is the case given the jig.

1mm difference in heel spacing isnt going to affect mounting pattern. Jig is the same.

    interesting to say the least

that is a lot of stack height for the touring mode, wonder how that would feel on an icy sidehill no fall skin track

It doesn't appear to be DIN certified. Are they trying to get that? Or did they try and fail?
