Paging our CIA sniper...Cletus where are you?

Yeah, i'll be around this summer.
    In and out of town.
    I'll stay in touch.
I'll call your cell phone when you can't answer it and leave messages and if you try to call right back, I won't pick up.

Chi-town mags make sure he is in one piece.

    I am ok, thanks Crunk!

constantly on the move though, or they'll find me

sitting across from Mt. Ripley, MI right now, too bad there's no snow

back in CO for all but a couple weekends (Fri/Sat/Sun) of Sept and Oct for soccer season, then gone Nov, then back for good

unless something changes dramatically, will be quitting the job in Dec and taking the season off to ski, so I'll be around

back next the last weekend in Aug, see you then, eh?

gonz, check in the mail on Monday; your place is yours for that 20th weekend, I got a wedding in Pitt to go to.

big love always to all y'all

see you foo's soon, Sept 25 and Oct 5 already on my calendar

Being a brady! The perfect cover!!

    There is always that second
when you see him on the street
    before you can stop yourself
    YO! Clet!
and then, he turns to you
waves a friendly hand and smiles
but there's that one first second
when he turns a steely hard
wary and some say downright mean
pair of war ravaged eyes on you
and you almost, no do think:
maybe I shoulda just let him pass
but you still have a nice talk
never mind the constant furtive glances
    checking the backtrail
talking to tigers is edgy bidness
"It is not the result that counts! It is not the result but the spirit! Not what - but how. Not what has been attained - but at what price.

Congrats on taking the season off. We'll have to get into some trouble on the slopes at some point this year.

    in enemy territory

sitting across from Mt. Ripley, MI right now, too bad there's no snow
hotties have been spotted, but they are wearing their tops

back in CO for all but a couple weekends (Fri/Sat/Sun) of Sept and Oct for soccer season, then gone Nov, then back for good

You are more than welcome to spend some time of your season off crashing here in Snowmass. Its about time you skied with Kate and I. Btw... I think your bro is going to be out here next week.

    Heh.

Hotel earlier, Cyberia cafe now. Did some exploring, found some crags (will do some bouldering/climbing tomorrow), beers and burger at the Library; it's all good no matter where in the country I find myself on any given day. Yesterday Chicago, the day before No. Virginia, today, Houghton, MI. Whatever. But holy crap gents, the yoopee is way the fuck up here. And you yoopers are a rare breed. Talk about isolated from the mainstream. Still, has it's own charm. Will check out Bohemia if I get a chance, definitely will have a pasty (WFT?) for you Pow.A.Whore, and will report back when I return to reality on Sunday/Monday...

FigureNate, yes please; Jay-rad, yes please also. But what is this I hear about a regression? Guess "trouble" will have to be at the 'Basin..!

Wow, that's more than I've said all summer, huh? Gf is attending bachelorette party right now, I'm taking care of me, myself, and I, working on some personal stuff, resume, some writing, some introspection, some video editing, and so on, topped with a couple nice brews...all in all, very pleasant night so far, prolly even get molested later when the girl comes back drunk and horny (woo-hoo).

Now that I've made this an update, what else? Been hitting the gym a bunch lately, training for soccer season and ski season. Lost some weight, added back some muscle, doing pretty well right now. Can't wait for the season though, holy crap. Been waking up at night dreaming of pow turns. What else? Hmm. Well, in other news, truth's lady is a HOTTIE. Hung out with them a few weeks back. And Gonz's roomate is hilarious. "eh, eh guy! ya, you guy! how bout them red sox? wicked sick, eh?"

Anyway, back to my hole. We CIA spooks aren't supposed to share so much you know.

I'll be around again when the snow flies...till then, much love to my bruthus from otha muthas.

Sweet!!!! Good to see someone carrying on the proud lineage. I had the last two years covered (not that I was the only one and the world centers around me...well...ok...it does ).

As for you Crinkle, I'm reporting you to the suede denim secret police for that breach of national security.

one quick note before I dissapear again for a while:

    - a good pasty (pass-tee) is a beautiful thing; a bad one is a heinous, heinous creation
    - the UP is its own country with its own language
    - you pass the Bong Recreation Area on the way there from Chicago, no shit
    - Mt. Bohemia looks cool, but is at the northern edge of nowhere
    - pulling over on a road trip just to have a make out session with your gf is still as fun as it ever was
