My the "site is fucked" comment was directed at the username being an email, not alibi for scamming, of which there is none.

This post (and thread) is useful for explaining how the scam works: https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...74#post7065074

Also, the thread linked in there: https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...-scam-attempt?

The emile@bushwacker dude has not come back in here to actually answer these questions, but I'm willing to bet that he got an email, not a PM, from someone claiming to be MNazWIcoWA, he sent that person money, then came on here believing MNazWIcoWA scammed him while MNazWIcoWA has no idea what the fuck he's talking about. Am I wrong?

Not to change the subject, but just curious if any of you bigger folks out there have made the one eighty six enforcer eighty eight work? I’m six foot four and two hundred and fortyish pounds and looking for a ski in the eighty to ninety millimeter waist range that’s fun to carve and charge and doesn’t suck off piste.

^^ 88 ain’t gonna be fun off piste

But the 99 would fit the bill. Similar size as you. Super fun on piste but also enough float to make it work in fresh snow. And not too wide for me to notice on hardpack

I loved the old Brahma but I sold it because it was pretty beat up. In hindsight, I should have kept it as a rock ski. I’m curious if the enforcer eighty eight reminds anyone of the old Brahma? Just based on the other Enforcers and Blizzard skis I’ve been on, I’m assuming the enforcer eighty eight won’t have the same top end that the Brahma had? And it’s probably more of a mental thing but I’m not sure about the length… I haven’t been on anything less than one hundred and eighty seven centimeters in length in years.

I should preface this by saying that I only have an hour on the Brahma 88 and zero time on the E88/E89. I own an E94 for crushing bad snow off piste.

But, in contrasting the two ski lines:
-Enforcer has more tip and tail rocker and Brahma has much flatter tip and tail but especially tail
-Enforcer had a -8 mount point and now -7 while Brahma was -10.5 and Anomaly is still -10.5
-Enforcer has more tapered tips and tails while Brahma has less reverse sidecut / longer effective edge

Both skis haul ass but Brahma is more classic shin to win and Enforcer has become a lot more of a modern off piste freeride crud and crust slayer that can still rip a groom - it’s come a long way from its original flat tail -11 or 12 cm mount incarnation (I still have a 2012 Enforcer 98 I’ve been meaning to give away).

Kendo/Mantra 88 may be a bit closer to the Brahma, also a -10.5 mount, similar weight, not as much tip and tail rise as the Enforcer. I laid the Kendo Brahma and Enforcer side by side in the store and the tail rocker told me I would have the most fun off piste with the Enforcer. And I was correct.

Stance sort of splits the difference between Enforcer and Brahma on shape, it’s stiffer than Enforcer (probably on par with Brahma) and it’s pretty fun off piste (I think due to a sharky nose) despite a ton for camber and flatter tail, but it’s in a lighter weight class than Kendo Brahma Enforcer.
I have zero time on Anomaly and have only skied the Mantra 96 so I’m sort of extrapolating that experience to the Mantra/Kendo 88.

The Blizzard Anomaly series has gotten a bit softer at the extremes and increased their tail rocker and splay vs the old Brahma 88. Even easier off trail now and have a 188cm length in the 88. The Enforcer 89 got stiffer and reduced its rocker to make it more on piste biased so its the stronger, more demanding one now at its width,

I havent skied the Anomoly yet, but this corresponds with what I have heard. I have the (23/4) E94 in this slot right now and I really like it. I think I will bump to the new E99 next year because it sounds a touch more versatile off trail. Despite what a lot of reviewers say, I think the E94 is a very solid off trail ski. The firmer and chalkier the better. That tail does not love mank or softer sloppy snow, but they do OK if you keep your speed up. I think the 99 will solve for most of that.

Nordica has nailed the Enforcer mount point if that is your thing. They allow me to seamlessly jump between them and my more progressive freeride skis (most mounted -4 to -7).

Spent today on my 2025 E99s and then swapped to my 2025 E104s. Conditions were spring-like with firm-ish (not quite ice) groomers with a few inches of new snow groomed on top. Off trail was firm spring snow with 4-6" of heavy, dense April hot-pow on top.
I just love the E99's on anything firm. They hold an edge so well, are so smooth and damp, yet are pretty easy to manage. When I took them to the upper mountain, they were feeling a little more locked in, especially in the tail, than I wanted in the 4-6" of heavy pow, so I decided to swap to my E104s. Wow, what a difference! The added width, slightly bigger turn radius, and much looser tail made a huge difference. I was much more confident in taking a more direct fall-line approach without fear of the tails hanging up in the dense pow. Fun factor also went up as I gained more float and more agility. The E104 feels like it has a higher limit than the E99, but it is somehow easier to ski? Spent the rest of the day off trail looking for stashes and the E014 was the perfect tool.
Now that I have more time on the E104 in less than perfect conditions, I know that ski it reminds me of. It reminds me a lot of the OG Blizzard Cochise 108, but in a more groomer friendly format. It's alomst like it takes the best traits of the OG Bonfide 98 and OG Cochise 108 and blends them into a near perfect all-mountain ski. They are neraly as smeary as a Cochise and can charge in similar fashion...okay maybe just a little less of a charger, but close. I always wanted a Cochise type ski that worked better in pow and on groomers and the 2024 Enforcer 104 is the closest thing I have every tried. They are quickly becoming one of my favorite all time skis.
In constant pursuit of the perfect slarve...

Great review Bandit and agree on how great the E104 is!
Really is amazing how good the E99 is till you get on the E104 and the damping, crud ability and stability all go noticeably up while being easier off trail and just as great at carving when you really lay them over.
Had mine stone ground to get some rock hits smoothed out which got the bases even flatter, reset the base edges and then I gave them a full tune after. They skied even better then before when I took them out last week in similar conditions to yours. So easy edge to edge for a 104mm wide ski and were awesome in the tracked snow on the afternoon groomers. Definitely one of my favourite skis now too!
