It's flat. It has been flat. It will be flat. It's so flat, it makes my 13 hour work days better knowing there won't be any waves when I get home.

I think I'm going to remove my fins for the weekend so I can catch a wave and not snap it off in the 3" of water I'll be riding

They're calling for "growing SW wind chop" here tonight, "Knee to thigh SW wind waves/SE swell possible through the day" tomorrow, and "Thigh to waist SE swell with bigger sets is possible in the morning. NE winds turning ESE" Friday...

Taking one of my fins off tonight.

got some knee high waves last friday, haven't been to the beach since besides getting some coffee.

you can't even body surf in this stuff.

mrs. slim drove to the ocean today from Oakland to surf. i told her everybody here said it was flat. she said whatever and went anyway. it was flat and cold. she turned around and drove home. i told her "i told you so."

just b/c you live at the beach, it doesn't mean that's the ONLY beach you can surf at. Topanga was chest/head high and offshore, with only, oh, 30 guys out.
