    Another slide show

Trekkin and skiing in the lcc/bcc area.

    8min run time & 28.5mb

the alpenglo slide show was supposed to be part of this one also but I wanted that one looked better on its own. I have another 4min worth of pics that I'll put to music but I can't seem to find a worthy song. I'd like something w/ a varied tempo (not always fast or slow) that doesn't have some sappy love theme to it. you'd be supprised how hard that is to do. any ideas?

The songs are a little long(14ish and 16ish minutes each) but Scarlet Begonias or Terrapin Station have the variations you're talking about and no sappy lyrics.

    I'm downloading...

We need autumn before winter comes. I'm imagining skiing through an aspen glade with golden leaves falling on a foot of new snow. Thin skiing, but I really love it too.

    Arrow just some ideas

    Tangerine
    Led Zepplin III
about a minute short and admitidly a bit sappy too but likely never been put to ski-vid or slide show heh

Silent In The Morning (a minute too log maybe)
    Phish, Rift

    Reach??? I think
    Collective Soul, Greatest Hits

and probably the best song never played in a ski video
The Mountains Win Again off Blues Traveller Four

also possible thematic selections could include:
Fields Of Joy (Lenny, Mama Said!!!!)
Shine (yes,I listened to the whole collective soul album last night)
Moorea (Gypsy Kings, bestest of tr#5)
*Impressive Instant (Madonna, "Music") :actually "my" number one vote>

gotta talk to the photogs about those. most are derek's, some are dave's (gramps) and a couple, including the last one in the trekkin sequence, are adam's (grizzle6).

    ti,

i'm checking some songs now. i thought about using big head todd's cover of tangerine in my alpenglo show but then i saw tgr's new name and figured it would be in there. i found a better one for that anyway. http://65.254.90.69/downloads/04-05_...e_show512k.wmv
