A snowmobiler was fatally caught in an avalanche yesterday in the Baker Creek drainage of the Sawtooth NRA. His companion located and uncovered him, but the snowmobiler was buried for 30 minutes and was apparently pulseless when uncovered. Official PR coming out soon.

Nope, LBL is in SE Idaho. Baker Creek is a little north of "glitter gulch", popular motorized access area and low angle ski touring. The lake near which the accident happened is quite a ways up Baker Creek. Condolences to the rider, family and his partner. Originally Posted by stuckathuntermtn
